UTICA, MASS, AND PROVIDENCE TRIP

MONDAY:
The end of Provincial Rally: After breakfast in the hall, everyone returned to coaches to start packing up.  A few had left bright and early due to a long trip home to Michigan and Ottawa.
We left about 11:00 and was greeted by the Customs Agent at the Peace Bridge.  He came inside the coach.  I thought, oh here we go-an inspection.  But he looked down thur the coach and said okay.  He returned to his cubby hole and handed us our passports.  Walla, we could go.
At home, I started the washing.  I had done one load at camp but forgot to pack soap so the one load was like a rinse job.

Bob mowed the lawn, I watered plants.  Betsy had supper all planned, new recipe.  Salisbury steak that tasted like meatloaf...that recipe is not a keeper.
During the evening, Bob watched his programs and I read.
TUESDAY:
We packed the remaining needed items and was prepared to take off for Turning Stones Campground just west of Utica on Wednesday.  We are hoping to visit with our grandson Eric and go out to dinner.  (He goes to Utica college)
WEDNESDAY:
Finished packing and left about 11:30.  Our trip went good and we arrived and set up around 3'o'clock,  Eric had football practice and had to take a player to the doctor who had hurt his wrist so he didn't arrive until 8:30.  We had cheese and crackers while waiting.  We went to a steak house and they had just closed the kitchen..just our luck.  They offered to cook for us, so we stayed.  Bob and I returned to camp ground and relaxed.
THURSDAY:
We pulled out about 9, arrived in Greenfield, Mass. about 1:30.  The parking crew brought us to our site.  We registered and picked up our Goodie Bags.We had cocktails with the NY crew from all across the state.  There was Bingo in the evening.  No internet but we are battling lots of flies.
FRIDAY:
Meetings, meetings and more meetings.  We did go to the Yankee Candle Mall.

Decos and flowers all around.

You could smell all the fragrances.

What's your choice?
That store was just like a grocery store, huge!  There was also Vera Bradley, Pandora, Dept.56, Toys, etc.  I shopped until my legs ached and had to give in.
Supper time we had to cook our own potatoes.  They had given us 2 big potatoes for baking at check in.  We then went to hall where they had all kinds of toppings and a salad which our Chapter had volunteered to serve.  I had the sour cream to dip.  I had one lady telling me-one tablespoon and another telling me to give them more.  Considered a Potato Bar, I guess.

I couldn't wait to finish this caper.
The MA & NH Chapters presented "Hee Haw" for entertainment, we had a lot of laughs.
Followed by an Ice Cream Social.  I think it was today that I saw the "smart cooks" using plastic bags in crock pots.  They told me if you buy the plastic bags for oven baking, you can line the crock pot with them before putting in the food and it's easy clean up.  The hot fudge was heated this way.
SATURDAY:
We had a hot cooked Egg McMuffin with cheese and sausage for breakfast.  Some of the ladies worked on a Christmas Craft after.  (a hanging quilted ball)  Then we had to meet at 12:30 to car pool to the Connecticut River for a river boat cruise.  It was cold and damp, and boring.  I took a nap.

Right out of the movies. Just like the boat in the movie Jungle Queen  (I think)
Our dinner was catered followed by entertainment with Art Harriman; who supposedly played with the great county stars.  He was good, played drums, guitar and harmonica.
Our raffles were next.  They made over $500.00 from the charity baskets for Make A Wish.   I wasn't able to see who won my basket with the decorated wine bottle and etc.  Bob won a $20.00 gift certificate to Applebee's during the door prize drawings.
SUNDAY:
After a Continental Breakfast we went to the dump station, then hooked up the car.  We were headed for Providence, RI., to see Sarah.  We found our campground, unhooked the car and left.  Sarah was waiting for us.  We had coffee and visited.

Relaxing at Sarah's apartment.
She drove us all over to see the "hot spots" and downtown Providence.  We had dinner at Siena's on Federal Hill.

Pic by the car attendant, parking is at a premium here.

Goodbyes are such sweet sorrow.  Wish we had more time.

We are now back to the motor home and thinking about our trip home.  Early to bed, early to rise.
It's been a fast week with a busy schedule.  I'll be glad to get home as I miss Cinder.
Have a good week everyone.  Thanks for clicking in.

ONTARIO PROVINCIAL RALLY @ YOGI BEAR CAMP GROUND

MONDAY:

Okay so I'm staring at a blank format.  How to write with interest and emotion are toughies.  Did you ever try it?   I always wanted to write a book but my dreams were busted when the only title I had wasn't about to be written.  Years ago, I wanted to ride across country with my brother and his son in a huge-ga semi; documenting facts for a children's book.    Insurance reasons squelched that idea along with my title: "Grandma Goes Trucking!"   My brother has since passed over and his son (dubbed the Globe Trotter) now lives in Oklahoma.  If and when we visit Alex at the Vance Air Force base we should take time to check him out.

I don't know why but I'm having a melancholy day.   Over the weekend, while making the meat balls for spaghetti, I kept thinking about Bob's sister, Becky.  On one of her visits here she helped us make the meat balls.  Becky had Downs Syndrome Disease.  Becky was special to the whole family.  Was she visiting me in spirit to say, " Let me help."  Or does she have an entirely different message for me?  Maybe it's an anniversary of one of her milestones accomplished.  She participated in many of the Special Olympics.  She was a very special girl and I miss her.

Anyway, back to books.  I just deleted four books that I have read on the Ipad.  I can't help but think of all the children reading from their type Ipads/readers.  How wonderful and encouraging to keep them reading.  I remember when my kids were young,  after supper it was bath time, then story time.  I read One Fish, Two Fish so many times.

The wash is done, I've paid bills, I've Blogged.  Excuse me, I have to get up from this computer as I get sleepier and sleepier.  Supper time is fast approaching.

TUESDAY:
A little cooler this morning.  We hurried off to Tops to get our groceries for camping.  In the afternoon we drove to Lockport for a hair cut and to visit with our daughter and granddaughter.  We gave them the wine bottles to be decorated.
Back at home, we had warm ups for supper and then started to pack cosmetics and clothes to carry out to motor home in the morning because we were having a down pour.
WEDNESDAY:
We didn't get up as early as I wanted too; again I was up walking around during the night.  We just took our time and finished packing the motor home.  We left home about 1:00 and drove up to the college parking lot to hook up the car.  Our street is just to busy to be safe hooking up anymore.
We drove right thru Buffalo to the Peace Bridge.  It wasn't busy and I thought they would pull us over for an inspection while they had the time.  But they didn't, just a couple questions and we were on our way.  We found the camp ground very easily.  Ha, there is a Wal*Mart right up the street.
After set up, we walked around to see where the club house was and then stopped to say hi to a couple from Rochester.
After supper we just vegged out watching TV and reading the info in our Goodie Bag.

THURSDAY:
It was cold during the night; (41 degrees) Bob turned on the heat pump which ran all night.  An electric  feature which is built into the air conditioner; it saves us using propane to run the furnace.
We had a quick breakfast and prepared to go to the Sicard Holiday Rambler Dealers for a tour of their facilities and they treated us to a Bar B Que lunch.

WELCOME SIGN
Our friends from Rochester rode with us.  The dealers gave each family a pretty Mum plant.  We did not see a motor home that we like better than what we have.  Amen!
After we drove to the Welland Canal and watched a huge ship pass threw the locks.  Bob enjoyed that and took lots of photos.

THIS SHIP WAS FROM HONG KONG - JUST STARTING TO BE LIFTED.

LIFTED AND READY TO GO TO THE NEXT LOCK

Back at camp, I prepared a dish of scalloped potatoes with sausage for the pot luck dinner.
Upon entering the hall, the Chairmen had prepared tickets with numbers; each lady took a pink one and each man took a blue one.  Then you had to sit at the table with the number on the ticket.  They did this to separate husband and wife and so members would meet others.  The "grey hairs" are a little set in their ways and a few noses went up in the air, but the majority thought it was fun.
After they had a presentation by a representative from Skymed.  (Insurance for a flight home in case of health problems)  After cake and ice cream everyone returned to their coaches.  I was ready, it had been a long day.
FRIDAY:
About 4 o'clock this morning we had a down pour!  It hit so hard and fast that I thought someone had driven into our coach.  I bounded out of bed to shut the vents and windows.

We fixed our own breakfast  and hurried off to catch the double decker bus for the tour down to the Falls at 9:45.

THE STEERING WHEEL WAS ON THE LEFT SIDE
Two ladies were our escorts; one drove and one presented the history of all of Niagara.  She was excellent and we really enjoyed it.  We were gone for 3 hours.  We covered the whole park system, from the Falls up to the Whirlpool.  (30 or 35 miles)

16 BILLION GALLONS  OF WATER GO OVER PER MINUTE

The flowers were beautiful everywhere.

Back at the motor home, we made lunch and took a nappie!  Cocktails were at 4 o'clock so I prepared a snack to take and left, leaving Bob still sleeping.  Guess what, he was upset with me, well, I thought he needed his rest.
Members going to the dinner theater were to meet up at the office to car pool at 5:30.  The show was called "OH CANADA EH?".

OH CANADA EH?
We were served family style; pea soup, salad, veggies and fish, chicken and roast beef.  It was average.  The cake was scrumptious!
3 young men and 3 young women who were our servers;entertained us for 3 hours.  They worked the audience and one gal picked Bob to finish a song-all he had to do was sing the word - "Baby."  They sang all Canadian songs.  I was surprised when I heard some that I thought were American.  For instance, AQUARIUS-Debbie marched to that song in high school.  Gordon Lightfoot's song, THE WRECK OF THE EDMUND FITSGERALD.  The evening was the most enjoyable in a long, long time.
Bob went down to see who is at the campfire while I Blog.  It's damp out because we had more rain this afternoon.
SATURDAY:
Chapter 106 had prepared breakfast for us all, (31 units-60 some members): pancakes, scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon.  Juice, melons, pancake dips and the whole works.  They were selling Make A Wish tickets.
After we visited with a couple from Wassaga Beach; which is on my Bucket List for next summer.  They gave us a campground location and explained the Escapees program to us.  Helen had helped cook this morning so I mentioned the scrambled eggs as I'd hate to cook that many and low and behold I learned something new.  Helen told me that they cheated.  The big box stores here sell packages of cracked eggs (40 eggs) in a plastic bag which you drop in boiling water for so long, remove and roll in a towel--walla-scrambled eggs.
Bob was offered help in changing the rubber slide seal on our bedroom slide out so we drove back to Sicard's RV to get the part.  He worked on that during the afternoon.

FIXING THE SLIDE OUT SEAL

IT TAKES A FEW TOOLS TO DO A GOOD JOB!
I made brownies in the convection oven and then read a book.  (The Biography of Julia Roberts) Our Chapter gathered for cocktails at our coach as it was windy and cold and we tried to stay in the sun but block the wind.
Nothing was planned for our evening meal; so I grudgingly made it.  After we went to the hall for ice cream, cake and program presented by Chapter 106.  They had an ice breaker which we had to get filled out; a sheet of paper with all related HR events on it. The blocks were funny; I quickly had members signing mine.  I was happy to tell others that (1)we brought our computer, (2)we have had our motor home towed, (3)I have held an office, (4) we had to cross a border to get here; and on and on.   A new Bingo card game followed; we were to bring 2 dimes, 3 nickles, a quarter, a Looney and a Tooney.  The chairs were so uncomfortable there that Bob and I left.  I'll have to get the scoop on that tomorrow.  EH?
SUNDAY:
Most members are heading off to church.  We slept in a bit but I wanted to make bacon and eggs so we blew off church.    Really unappreciative; when we pray for a safe Trip and a good time.
Today there is Bean Bag Baseball.

BEANBAG  BASEBALL  TOO COLD OUTSIDE.

and then a dinner at Betty's restaurant.  Then a trip down to the falls to see the lights on falls.

It's head home tomorrow.  Un pack and repack for our next rally in Mass.  We are enjoying our coach this month!   We knew about 7 couples when we arrived; we now know many more.  The 106 Chapter really did an excellent job.

Guess I'll post this.     Hope everyone has had a good week.   Thanks for checking in.

POOL CLOSING

MONDAY:
Good morning world!  Geeze, I slept pretty good, even if the Steelers lost last night.  Do they really think that "TROY" can do all the work?  I just have to order one of Troy's new T-shirts- the running body with the hair a flying.  Hay, he supports the veterans and that makes it A-OKAY by me, hair or no hair!

Camping clothes are tumbling in the washer, dinner place mats in the dryer, good start.
I have checked the e-mails; it's always fun to see who has read or commented on my Blog, it inspires me to continue.  And, for once Bob isn't yelling for me - "Caroline, Caroline!  Aah, Peace!

Well, come to find out he is all upset with the door on the motor home.  I thought he was going to tell me it was crooked or dented from the rain storms at camp but he is all upset that there are streaks on the inside door finishing.  He says acid rain did it.  Okay Bob!  Who knows anything about acid rain?  He is going to try some leather polish but he thinks that finishing liner is plastic.  So he will probably spend some time on that and stay out of my hair.  Yes!  Nope, in he comes and wants me to sew the awning strap back together.  Oh no, I'm not breaking a needle, I said, take it to the Sterling Canvas company.  I'd have to sew over the plastic point that goes in the awning tube.

Tops grocery store sent me the new ads by e-mail.  Ya know what, it's a lot easier to read the ads on computer; they are brighter.  I do have my glasses on!   I have to find time to study it and see what I can get for my college students.  No rhyme or reason; the first grandchild that comes to visit Grandma can poke thru the box.  Last night,  Alex picked threw the two boxes of grub that I have set aside for "college students."  He isn't a student now but he is unemployed as the brewery laid him off.   What ever is Free, 2-fer or BOGO, on sale or that I have a coupon for goes in the boxes.  It takes the drudgery out of grocery shopping for me.
TUESDAY:
The morning didn't go so good as I screwed up my checkbook on line.  I had to call Bob to help straighten it out.  I hit delete by accident and lost a debit.  Hoa, Hoa.  Then he decided to reconcile the statements and that wouldn't balance.  His idea of balancing is to make an adjustment, never mind hunting down the problem.  Okay, Bob!

The afternoon wasn't much better.  After lunch I wanted to go outside and put in a couple hours of getting pool stuff put away.  I can't do much lifting but let me do what I can, flower pots, decos, etc.

CLEANING OUT THE FLOWER POTS.

Bob was not too happy with me as he wanted to lay down.  He had already washed the car and swept the camper.  So understandable.  I didn't ask him for help.  Grudgingly, he joined in and we worked till I had to start supper.  Once Betsy was home she helped and we have all the furniture stored under the deck and are ready to do the pool closing tomorrow.  A big job done.

CINDER'S FAVORITE SPOT SITTING IN THE SUN WHILE WE WORK.
WEDNESDAY:
We were busy all day.  One thing and another but you can't see a job done, until after supper when we all worked on the pool closing.  That Elephant Cover gets harder to put on each year.  Good thing we have Betsy to help us.

LINING UP THE TIE DOWN STRAPS

I LIKED THE REFLECTION IN THE WATER.

ONCE BOB PUTS HIS SIZE 13'S ON THE STRAP, THEY GO DOWN!  POOR BETSY, SHE DOES THE HARD PART.

ALL DONE FOR THIS SEASON.

IT WAS ALMOST DARK WHEN  BOB TOOK THIS  PHOTO.

THURSDAY:
Not much to write about.  I was up early and baked a coffee cake, then went for groceries.  Cleaned the upstairs in the afternoon.  Same ole, same ole.
Donna wrote, Alex received his orders to report to the Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma on October 31st.  The Sky Boy will begin his dreams.
FRIDAY:
We went downtown to do a couple errands.

BURGER KING HAS A NEW FACE LIFT.
THE FARMER'S MARKET

DECORATIONS FOR FALL ON MAIN STREET

WHAT ARE THESE THINGS?

TOMATOES FOR CANNING  $20.00/BUSHEL

The Farmer's Market is smaller than previous years.  But they still have nice produce.  Cukes are .50 each compared to .99 at Tops Market.   Bob went with me to help carry the bushel of tomatoes.  Betsy will help me do the canning tomorrow.  We love to put basil right in the canning jars; then when you make spaghetti sauce it's all ready flavored.

The afternoon was cooler and then it started raining.  Our bedroom was a shambles so no better time to clean than while it's cool.

I made a small shank ham for supper with sides; can't wait to grind some
and make a ham spread for sandwiches.

We watched a little TV and then started setting up for canning tomorrow before going to bed.

SATURDAY:
Bob called me EARLY this morning because Betsy was already in the kitchen and she had the canning pot heating, jars in the dishwasher, and ready to scald the tomatoes for canning.  Yipes!   It was chilly outside and she had some of the doors and windows open so the kitchen would stay cool.

NASTY JOB BUT SOMEBODY HAS TO DO IT!

Aren't they pretty!  We ended up with 19 quarts out of the bushel.  We were done before 11:00 and Betsy could go get ready for her football game.  Never thought it would go so fast.  However, it's not enough for the year.
  • A mathematical problem for my bright readers:
  • If I want to serve spaghetti, or LaSagna or stuffed shells at least once a week for the year.
  • And it takes 8 quarts of tomatoes to make the sauce each time.
  • We usually have one dinner and freeze 5 dishes from a batch of sauce.
  • How many quarts do I need to can for the year?
Don't ask me as I haven't figured it out yet.

well, that's enough mess to clean up for today.  Nappie time!

SUNDAY:
Well, it happened again.  When I got up Betsy was in the kitchen banging away!  We had planned to make sauce today and she had everything started.
She used 10 quarts of tomatoes this time and we had 5 lb of hamburg for the meatballs.  Big pot full!    We cooked it all day and had it for dinner.  Umm!
After supper Betsy announced "that's enough for me, I'm all tomatoed out!"  I agree.

We watched both football games today and that's a bit much.  However, happy that Buffalo and Pittsburgh won.  I missed watching Troy as he is out with injuries.  In between, we drilled the wine bottles for the Leukemia Fund raising.

I also made a grocery list. We are camping the next two weekends at Rallies so I had to figure out how many meals are provided and what  meals I have to cook.

I'm not sure if we will have WIFI at camps; so posting may not happen.   Hopefully, our schedule will be busy and it won't be boring.

Hope you all have a good week and again, thanks for clicking in.

Nasty Camping Weather

SUNDAY:
YES!
I forgot and everyone is waiting to hear.  Annalynn got the job!  She  was interviewed three times.  How about that nerve job?  I think she told me she would start next week.   An income after four years, thank you God.

MONDAY:
Labor Day!  Not here.  We had beautiful weather and we all enjoyed the outdoors.   Sarah was studying for the CPA exam in the sun, I was reading a book on the Ipad, and Betsy was sun bathing.  Bob took a nap under the gazebo, we could hear him snoring!    The pool was just right, walk right in.  Great Day!

After super, we had a delicious dessert that Betsy and Sarah had made.

PEANUT BUTTER PIE WITH CARMEL, PECANS AND HOT FUDGE DRIZZLED ACROSS THE TOP.  Very Rich.

Betsy put about 10 new books on her Ipad for me to read.  Then we watched a movie together and said our goodbyes to Sarah before going to bed as she was leaving bright and early to return to Bryant.

TUESDAY:
I checked the computer first thing.  I had a photo from son
David.  They had been on their deep sea fishing trip and Donna caught the only Tarpon.  Our feminine Donna fishing!  I'll bet she was excited.

LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT FISH! CONGRATULATIONS DONNA.
I headed out to the Farmer's Market and Tops grocery store.  I thought Tops would be extra busy with the First Tuesday 6% off but it wasn't.  I had so much on my lists that I got tired looking for everything.  Well, I had to make it complicated and figure out if the sales were better than the product right beside it.  That takes time.  I ended up with $12. 84 for the 6% savings.  I had about $9.00 something in coupons also.  They double up to $1.00 so that helps.  What a bunch of bologna with the coupons; why don't they just lower the price.

Once home we unloaded everything and had lunch.  We enjoy a fresh roll and fresh lunch meat after each shopping trip.  Lunch meat party!

Since I didn't lift a finger yesterday, I had the wash to do today.  So that's in the works.

It started raining about 2:30pm.  I ran around closing windows.  We need the rain, the pool is down beneath the first step.  It rained until 6 o'clock and then started to get foggy.  At least it's not a hurricane.

I was up during the night about four times so I'm tired tonight.  Guess I'll give it up for today.

WEDNESDAY:

I was up early and the house was still cool so I hurried downstairs to take care of the drip dry laundry.  I had one blouse to press so I hemmed and hawed and finally set up the ironing board.  I was out of energy by then.  I pulled a chair over and ironed while sitting down.  Plum Lazy!

Bob did a couple errands downtown.  He picked up my new meds and I have since read the directions and reactions: sounds like the same problem with the previous meds.  Hoa, Hoa!  The co-pay was $90.00 on one of the meds, I hope that I'm not allergic.

Dana Stringham, owner of the back field, called Bob today to give us a heads up.  He heard there are lots of rumors flying around concerning the field.  "Yes, it is for sale, he has 3 prospective buyers, and he will not allow rental units to be built."   So here we go again.

After supper when it cooled down some, we carried some food out to the motor home as we are camping this weekend.  It was so hot outside today it's a wonder the paint doesn't slide off the house.   I guessed the pool would be cold after the rain yesterday so I putzed around from one thing to  another.

THURSDAY:
I packed my clothes to put in the camper and took them out.  Then I packed meds and cosmetics; while doing that I cleaned out under the bathroom sink.  Stuff just get shoved in there.
We are all asked to bring something to share at the Continental breakfast on Sunday so I baked some muffins.  The package was only for 6 muffins so I made two batches.  Well, they turned out so small that I'm not taking them.  I'll go to Tops in the morning and buy something before leaving.
I made a dried beef cheese ball and that looks okay.  I cut up a cantaloupe and put supper in the crock pot.  I was just a whiz this morning.

It rained hard in the afternoon.  Good thing we made all our trips to the motor home earlier.

FRIDAY:

We went over to Tops for the fresh muffins.  A few other items too.
We finished packing and prepared to leave.  Cinderella had gone in the motor home to help us pack and she was nice and comfortable on the couch.  She didn't come out when we called her-she was going camping too.  So we went in the garage for about 20 minutes and she finally came walking into the garage, "what's going on?" was on her face. Then her head goes down when we open the door to the house and tell her to go in.  It's so hard to leave her.

We are going to the campground called "Branches of Niagara" and it is on Grand Island.  It's reality new and we have never been there before this trip.  They have WiFi, a heated pool and an 8 acre pond for fishing and there is a zip line to ride.  Can you see the "gray hairs" riding that zip line.  Oh, Boy.
We arrived about 1:00pm.  After set up, we had cocktails with the group.  Then drove off to a restaurant to have the Friday Fish Fry.

It was still  warm when we returned to camp so the guys started a fire.  Bob was so happy to get to use his new hatchet that he received for Christmas.  I brought out the makings for smores and we all enjoyed one.
SATURDAY:
It poured during the night!  It poured about breakfast time with nasty winds.
I don't know if it was the tail end of Issac or not, but it was the tail end of something.
My umbrella blew up the road towards the lake.  I ran after it and got wet.

It's wet out there.

Our awning was rolled out and it was just a humming and taking a beaten.  It sounded like the Little Drummer Boy.  I said to Bob, I'd rather be soaked completely than buy a new awning, let's go put it up.

NASTY WEATHER!

AWNING JUST A FLAPPING!

So out we go, I had the awning pull down strap in my hand while Bob release the clamps to arms.  Whosss the awning flapped up and over the motor home roof; the pull down strap snapped and left me holding it.  When we finally managed to pull it off the roof and reroll it, it was crooked.  Bob had to go up and pulled it back to fit.  I had 3 dryers full of clothes to dry.  Love my Splendie!

BOB TUGGING ON THE AWNING.

The ladies who were preparing the meal, cooked everything inside their motor homes. We had sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuits with Home Gravy. Um mm!
It was still nasty so Bob and John delivered the plates full to each unit by car. The first time we have had Meals On Wheels at a camp grounds.

MEALS  DELIVERED.

After lunch it had cleared off so Bob and I went fishing.  I was the lucky one this time.  I caught two nice ones and gave my pole to Bob for luck.  He was trying to use his fly rod and the wind just was to strong and the line wouldn't follow thru the arm procedure.

MY PERCH

MY  BIG MOUTH BASS

3:30pm: We all gathered again for cocktails and the sky was black and nasty looking, it rained again.  We were invited into the National Director's coach.  What a camp out.  It had it's way and finally blew out so we all returned outside and dinner was started.

A FRIEND'S DOG - DAISY: SHE LOVES THE PUDDLES.

There wasn't much activity after supper.  We visited but a fire was never built.  So when it started to get damp, I went inside to read.

SUNDAY:
We had a Continental breakfast.  Then we had a special presentation by one of the campers with her dogs.  She taught them sign language.  They would sit, stay, lay down, shake hands, and come all by sign language.  We were all impressed.

We said our good-bys and went back to motor home to start packing.  Check out was at 11:00.  It sprinkled some on the drive home but nothing like what we had at camp.

Betsy had dinner planned as Alex & Erin were bringing over some more wine bottles to drill.  Also, David & Donna came to show us their photos of their trip to Puerto Rico.  Donna brought all the fixings for a new rum drink that they had in PR.  Coconut rum, pineapple-coconut juice.  It was very good.

It's now 9:35  and the Steelers are on TV so guess I'll post this and go watch the game.

Hope everyone has a good week.  Thanks for clicking in each time.
