MOTHER'S DAY GIFT
MONDAY:
A quick trip to Rochester for the light treatment.

Computer work followed lunch.  Bob was checking all our reservations for coming events and he was all bent out of shape because he couldn't find the e-mail confirmation for our rooms in Oklahoma.  We dug thru all kinds of paper work never to find it.

A wake that evening in Lockport, while talking to family, it was confirmed that David had made the reservations for Oklahoma and we never had a confirmation.

TUESDAY:
Most of the morning, I did computer entry work.

After lunch we made time to go to BJ's.  On the way, we stopped at my friend, Barb's,  to drop off some paper back books and for a visit.  Her grandson and wife are now expecting which makes three from our former camping group.

At BJ's, I picked up several meat packs as our freezers are bare.  Hard to cook if it isn't available.  I checked out a few books while there and  saw they have gone up in price...almost $10.00.  So that's a good incentive to go to the library or more reading on the Ipad.

Bob went out to mow lawn just as it was getting dark because he heard rain for four days.

WEDNESDAY:

I woke up very early.  I made coffee and toast and went out on the porch.  It's so nice to have it warm now.  As I was sitting there, checking my phone, and I saw movement in the field.  It was a little bit foggy.  So I waited and realized it was a deer in our close field.  Then I wasn't sure because it looked funny, big at the bottom.  I went in the house and picked up the binocs, oh my gosh, it's a deer and a fawn!  It appeared a couple weeks old as it ran and kicked away from it's Mother.  What a treat!  Will the deer return to a certain spot to raise their young?  Seems we have had one in that area for a couple years now.

We went to Rochester for light treatment and shopped a little, then returned home by lunch time.  I did some ironing and other picking up jobs.  Bob went over to Home Depot for supplies to seal the pool deck.  I couldn't go anymore so I sat down to read and fell asleep.  Bob says a terrible thunder storm went thru while I slept.
After supper, I package and put the meat in the freezer.  I can't say the evening was exciting, some TV, blogging, and that's it.

THURSDAY:
Today is 2 weeks of eye drops on the right eye. One more week to go!  Yeah!

Driving over town for groceries, we noticed that two buildings/houses have been torn down beside the Dodge dealers.  Must be they are going to expand their parking display area.

PETER'S OLD ANTIQUE BUILDING IS GONE!

I'm trying to get stuff ready for our trip to Utica this weekend.  Of course, I had to get snacks for in the car.  I wish we had never booked a hotel room, we should have taken the motor home but who knew back then (last Nov.) that we would have the tow vehicle ready.  This will be less worry for the kids.

FRIDAY:
We had a fun day!  We prepared to go to Rochester.  We looked up a few things on computer before having lunch and then left.

After a light treatment at the center, we wanted to go to AAA to pick up some info and maps of our trip to Oxford, Ohio.  The attendant was very helpful.

I wanted to see the Disney movie called Million Dollar Arm which opened today for a first showing.  So we bought tickets at AAA and went for our four o'clock coffee.  Then to the show.  It's a true story.  We enjoyed it very much.  That's different for me to say.  There wasn't any blood, guts, or dark scenes.  It's a sports movie, success movie, and a life lesson for the agent.  BUT AAA insisted that we would need VIP tickets for first showing.  We paid $9.00 for VIP tickets.  At the movie, the attendant said the Senior price was a dollar cheaper each.  Live and learn!

So after the movie, I wanted to shop at Bon Ton.  Bob drove over to Market Place Mall to that store.  There wasn't anyone in the parking lot, that's strange. Driving around to different entrances, they all had the signs down, no activity.  So when did they close? Why did they close?  We drove home.  I put a load of wash in the washer and went Blogging.  Bob turned on the TV but I don't think he saw a thing, ZZZZZZ!

SATURDAY:
We loaded up Betsy's car.  We wanted to take our new CRV but there is a light that keeps going on about tire pressure so Bob decided we shouldn't take it.

We are off to Utica for our grandson Eric's graduation. We left early enough to stop and shop at the Waterloo Outlet Mall.  I like Clark shoes and I found two pair there.
Moving on, we arrived at the Utica Hotel and registered.  Now you have to know, this hotel is 103 years old.  We laughed when entering the elevator as it was so small....we were close in there.
BOB SNAPPED A SELFIE!

OUR ROOMS WERE BEAUTIFUL.

Family checked in at different times.  Those who were there at supper time joined in on the dinner at Olive Gardens.

SUNDAY:Our alarms went off at 6:00 am.  Plans were to have breakfast at 7:30 am, and go to auditorium by 8:00am to get seats saved.

The program was 3 hours long.  The aud was cold, some went out to the cars to get coats.  It wasn't to warm outside either.

OUR YOUNGEST GRANDCHILD
(my baby!, he hates that)

There was so many people, so many shuttle buses, Eric thought all the restaurants in town would be full so he suggested the buffet at the Turning Stone Casino.  So hop in the cars and drive 30 miles to  eat bigga time!  We had a wonderful luncheon meal.

BETSY & ERIC AT CASINO

The casino is beautiful with all the cut stone walls, fresh garden flowers and all.  After we went gambling with our crew.  We stood in line to get new updated cards.  Then on to the machines.  I lost $5.00 while trying to get the machine to register me.   Betsy called the attendant and they said that I played all 40 lines and used the $5.00.  Not to my knowledge.  I was ruffled!  In the meantime, Bob had won $80.00 so we pulled our cards and Bob cashed out.  We called for a shuttle.

We arrived home by 6:00 pm.  Aha, it's good to be home.  Fresh cup of coffee and all our pipes were working again.   (Dump, dump)  Ha!

This has been quick blogging as I want to see the last episode of Mr. Selfridge at 9:00 pm.  My machine is telling me to "Repair windows errors" so it's time to quit for this week.

Hope you have a good week, again, thanks for clicking in.
