Easter is on it's way!

CHOCOLATE MONDAY:
I forgot to mention on Sunday that I won a beautiful basket full of scrap booking supplies at the wedding shower.  I can always use those.

IT'S JUST FULL OF SUPPLIES.
Annalynn came here today to help me make chocolate.  We had lunch and then worked till 5:00pm.   I have at least 50 molds that we pour into and then we also make chocolate mixed with nuts, raisins, coconut and any thing else that sounds good.  I had 2 pounds each of light and dark wafers plus one pound white and one pound yellow.  We were real creative and painted the molds with flowers and leaves  until we saw the time moving ahead of us.  This time we didn't fill the plastic bottles that blew up on Annalynn another time, once was enough with chocolate all over the place.
We had a wonderful time laughing and visiting.

ANNALYNN - MAKING CHOCOLATES.
TRAY AFTER TRAY - SO GOOD.

THIS IS ALL I WANTED HERE.

PACK EM UP AND TAKE THEM HOME!
TUESDAY:
We went to exercise again.  We both feel like it isn't doing anything about our weight but maybe it's helping the stamina.  Chocolate doesn't help sitting around either.

At the grocery store I purchased a purple Hyacinth plant.  I love the smell of them.   Picking out what I like takes the pressure off of Bob, isn't he lucky?   I picked up the ingredients for the chocolate pudding cake as Debbie asked if I would make that for Easter dinner along with the Sweet Cheese and Polish Sausage.  Umm!
WEDNESDAY:
I moved that plant out on the porch....it really is strong smelling!

Bob and Joe went fishing up at Oak Orchards again.  Bob had a fish on!  Yeah, but now we hear the story that neither of them had a net to bring it in!!!  They left in nice warm 40 degrees and returned in a blizzard.  Big pieces of snow...again I call it "Sugar Snow."

I went shopping over to "Little Buffalo" (west side of Batavia) as we call it; stopped at Peebles and Michael's and then drove home in that blizzard.
Bob is napping when he gets up we are going to Bob Evans to eat since Betsy isn't coming home for dinner.   Any excuse!

THURSDAY:
Bob and I worked on some more banking transfers this morning.  Little by little we are getting our money moved to the new bank.  Many of the automatic bill pays are coming through correctly.  Yeah!

After he went downtown with a check to move our slush accounts, I did the necessary typing in Quicken while he was gone  Easy peasy!

Then I read some Blogs and Face Book.  One Snowbird couple is starting to move North and they mentioned two beautiful camp grounds in their Blog; one right near water and both near casinos.  Bay St. Louis area.  It would be nice to remember them just in case we go that way again.

A friend posted a new idea for treats around the campfire on Face Book today.  I had to copy it.

FRIDAY:
Bob and David had a fishing trip planned up near Pulaski (Watertown area) and they left about 9:00am.  David knew someone who was to show them the fishing holes in that area.  They scooped out a couple of campgrounds thinking about a return trip there but there was still 2' of snow and the grounds hadn't been plowed.  They feared it would be to wet and the Motor home would sink until later in the summer.  They returned home about 9:30pm and they were bushed.  Neither had caught a fish.

I spent the day cooking.  I made the polish sausage and the sweet cheese for Sunday.  I'm so slow, it takes me forever anymore.  And I scorched the sweet cheese; I was so upset with myself.  Gotta watch that pot closer.  Sweet Cheese is a Hungarian recipe that Great Grandma Rindo taught me how to make.  It's basically scrambled eggs that is sweetened.  Then raisins are added with cinnamon.  Once the dozen eggs are curdled, you pour it into a cheesecloth bag and let it drain.  We slice it on Easter morning along with the sausage.  So good.   Even with all this cooking I'm still thinking about the poppy seed bread that my Mom always made.  Wish I had some of that.  Next year, I'll try to make it.

Sweet Cheese hanging to drain.  Next it needs refrigerated.

The Sweet Cheese and sausage ready to go.

I watched basketball until the guys came home.  They certainly had a good time.  However, they had decided it was to far from home.  If they did it with an overnight it wouldn't be so bad.

SATURDAY:
Such a slow moving morning, nobody is up.  I read to keep things quite and I'm trying to figure out who the murder is in the book I have going.
Soon Betsy was up and going to the store.  She asked for my list.  I was going to go but remembered that I had to make the chocolate pudding desert for tomorrow.

Bob worked on his sign project out in the garage.  (SIL) Rocco had called sometime ago and asked Bob to redo a sign for an accounting firm here in Batavia that Rocco's company had purchased or merged with. (not sure which)

Later Bob and I watched the Syracuse basketball game.  They won.  I was just hoping that an Eastern team would win.

Now we have a DVD to watch that Donna and David recommended.  It's about fishing!!!  I'm being fished to death!  More tomorrow.

SUNDAY:
We shuffled off to Lockport early as Debbie planned dinner early for all the family schedules.  Debbie had 20 guests.  They had lots of food and it was all delicious.  They had been to the Broadway Market and Debbie had bought several loaves of poppy seed bread...ummm!

THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE EGG HUNT!
Having some trouble with the internet and this blog tonight.  So guess I'll close and post before I loose it all.

We had a wonderful day with family and friends.  Hope all my readers had a great time too.  Thanks for checking in.  Have a good week.
